Start with the right device and source
These steps are for ONN devices running Android TV or Google TV, and other compatible Android TV devices. Check your actual model and operating system in Settings; a brand name alone does not establish compatibility.
You need an internet connection and your own authorized Xtream Codes or M3U source. Movies, series, programme listings and catch-up depend on what that source supplies. A five-device app plan does not increase a provider’s simultaneous-stream limit.
Get the app onto your TV
Install Downloader from the TV’s Play Store
Search for Downloader by AFTVnews in Google Play on the TV. The developer’s page identifies the official app and supported platforms.
Download the official Nerdy Popcorn installer
Open Downloader and enter 3041872. This is an installer shortcut, not an activation code. The direct download link on this page uses the same official website download flow.
Review the installation prompt
If Android TV or Google TV requests permission, allow the installer app to install this APK, then return and select Install. Follow your device’s displayed labels; do not disable Play Protect or other security protections.
Open the app and choose how to begin
Connect your own source for free-mode viewing, or create an account in a phone/computer browser and use its unused trial activation code on this TV.
Add a playlist without replacing a working one
On the TV, open Settings → Playlists & Content → Add playlist. Choose Xtream Codes for a server URL, username and password, or M3U for a playlist URL and optional XMLTV guide URL. Use a recognizable label and choose Connect Playlist. Wait for the result before retrying.
Prefer a keyboard? Prepare the unused trial code on the website using Add setup to code, then Save setup on this code. Activate it on the TV afterward. Your website password and your source password are different credentials.
Get a useful guide before trying every feature
First play a channel you know your source carries. Then check its programme listings. If the channel plays but the schedule is blank, inspect that source’s EPG or XMLTV settings rather than deleting the playlist.
After basic playback works, try your favourites and a second source. MultiView requires enough provider connections, bandwidth and decoding capacity; begin with the layouts offered by your device rather than assuming every ONN model can decode the same number of streams.

Before you get started
Do I need to pay to test the app?
No payment method is required for the seven-day full-access trial. It covers one supported device and starts on activation. Free mode is also available without a time limit.
Does installing Downloader install Nerdy Popcorn too?
No. Downloader retrieves the installer. Finish the separate Android installation prompt, then open Nerdy Popcorn from the TV’s apps.
Can I set up a second TV?
Paid plans include five app device activations. Each device uses its own unused code. Copying a saved setup is different from ongoing sharing, and does not grant additional provider connections.
Should I clear data if loading is slow?
Not as a first step. Check available storage, internet access, source expiry and the exact error. Reinstalling or clearing data can remove a working setup. Contact Support with the model and app version, without playlist credentials.
